Displayco Canada, Western Canada’s leader in exhibit design and build, has an immediate requirement for both an experienced and entry-level Exhibit Designer to assist our rapidly expanding Calgary location. Displayco Canada, with over 30 years of business success, is experiencing unprecedented growth in all facets of its operation. This position is in response to this growth and increased service requirements for our existing and expanding client base.

The Exhibit Designer functions as an integral member of the Displayco team, providing quality, custom design for Display’s exhibit and display customers. This position requires a person to have experience in one or more of the following: tradeshow exhibit design, industrial design, or architectural design.
Responsibilities Include:
- Designing creative eye-catching tradeshow exhibits and estimating your designs.
- Computer experience with CAD software and 3-D Studio. Experience sharing design files with graphic and project managers department.
- Demonstrate solid design sense through each project that includes space, measurement, form, volume, and color.
- Clearly and professionally present ideas and designs to clients during design meetings via face-to-face, phone, and email.
- Take design direction from the client, sales representatives, and Department Manager.
- Operate effectively under time constraints and meet deadlines.
Requirements:
- At least 1 years Design experience
- Ability to design in Software such as 3-D Max, Autocad, VectorWorks and Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Large format graphic design experience a plus
- Working knowledge of the Macintosh Operating System
- Background/experience in tradeshow exhibit design, industrial design, or architectural design a major plus
- Possess an understanding of exhibits as a marketing and communication tool
